"Overact" is a musical that explores how people respond to different types of love: self-love, love for others, and love for the world.

STORY

In No Man's Bar, the owner, Mia, and her lover, Charlotte, plan to rob their customers to collect insurance money. Juliet, who falls in love with Mia and is accompanied by her sister Claire, tries to win Mia's affection. An orphan named Grace discovers a bomber planning to blow up the bar and decides to sacrifice herself to save everyone. Three stories intersect, weaving together themes of love and death.
